Text Box: Dear Coach, I would like to welcome you as a participant in the Anthony Wilson Invitational. This year’s meet will be held on Saturday, April 28th, with field events starting at 9:30 a.m. and running prelims starting at 10:00 a.m. We are doing our entries on baumspage again (www.baumspage.com). The Entry window is open now and will close at 7 pm on Thursday, April 26th. There will be a coaches meeting to go over the use of competitor numbers. We will be using them again this year. In long jump, shot and discus we will have 4 attempts and no finals, I feel it makes things run smoother. I will send with letter this the entry process for baumspage for those with questions. General Information Teams: Bishop Ready, Briggs, Buckeye Valley, Dayton ( Jefferson Twp.), East, Franklin Heights, Grove City, Horizon Science Academy, Linden Mckinley, South, Tree of Life, Walnut Ridge, West and Westland Admission: Adults – $5.00 Students – $3.00 Scoring: 10-8-6-4-2-1 Awards: Medals (1st – 3rd place), 1st place and Runner-up trophies will be awarded for both the boys and girls teams Facilities: Restrooms are available by the stadium (no locker rooms), concession stand will be open, athletic trainer will be on duty, teams enter facilities behind football stadium Blocks will be provided, both Moye and down. Schedule: 9:30 a.m. – Girls shot put, High Jump Boys Discus, Long Jump -Starting height in the High Jump will be determined by entries -Shot Put, Discus and Long Jump will be given 4 attempts, no finals 10:00 a.m.– Prelims (Hurdles, 100) top four in each heat go to finals (boys then girls for all prelims) - 4x800 will run after hurdle prelims - 200 Prelims will be held after the 4x800 12:00 p.m.- Finals, starting with the hurdles *The 400 and 300 hurdles will be set up on times I am looking forward to an outstanding meet.
